Kevin Bacon’s Hoof Dressing Winter Edition
Laurel balm for the maintenance and protection of horse's hooves during winter season.

Like all natural greases, our Hoof Dressing hardens in winter season beacuse it contains no solvents or crude oil derivatives.*

We have thus devised "winter formula" that is 25% richer in oil to keep our Hoof Dressing soft and creamy even in colder weather.

*used in some other brands:

- solvents give the grease a constant consistency but dry out the hoof wall.

- crude oil derivatives, such as paraffin and tar, clog the horn's pores, keep the hoof from breathing, and seal anaerobic bacteria in the foot, where they can proliferate and lead to thrush.

Easy to recognize thanks to its lid labeled "Winter Edition", this adapted formula is available in its colorless "Original" or in its "Black" version.

Mode d'emploi
Normal use:

Apply the ointment with a brush directly onto the outside, sole, and frog of each foot.
Care for sound hooves:  2 applications a week.
Before a competition:  1 application (for beauty).
In dry weather:  4-5 applications a week.

More intensive use for very dry hooves :

Hose down the feet a few minutes, and then dry them off.

Next brush on Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing Original.

Repeat this operation daily for one week. If hooves remain dry, consider applying "The Green Hoof Dressing" daily until visible improvements are achieved.
